My name is Scott Harvey, and I have always been passionate about music. I was inspired by groups like The Stray Cats and Reverend Horton Heat, and as I dove deeper into rockabilly and 1950s music, I became fascinated with the sound and vibe of the rockabilly scene. Wanting to immerse myself in it, I leaped—I bought an upright bass and started learning how to play this incredible genre of music. That decision set me on a path that would eventually lead to the formation of Cadillac Rumble—a band dedicated to bringing high-energy Rock & Roll and Rockabilly to audiences far and wide. What started as a passion project has evolved into a dynamic force in live music, with multiple lineups, countless shows, and an enduring commitment to keeping the spirit of classic Rock & Roll alive.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my bandmates and partners who have backed my crazy ideas and gigs over the years. A special thank you to Bogdan Gheorghe and David Tettmar for your support, guidance, and friendship. Your dedication has been instrumental in shaping Cadillac Rumble into what it is today.
The Evolution of Cadillac Rumble
Through the years, Cadillac Rumble has transformed while staying true to its roots. As the longest-standing member and band leader, I've had the privilege of seeing this band grow and change while still keeping its essence intact.
Cadillac Rumble V1 (2010 - 2012)
The original version of the band was all about raw energy and a love for classic rock influences. This early lineup set the foundation for what Cadillac Rumble would become.
- Jason McDonald – Lead Vocals and Guitars
- Jim Clarke – Lead Guitar and Vocals
- Scott Harvey – Bass and Vocals
- Andre Ferraton – Drums and Vocals
Cadillac Rumble V2 (2013 - 2015)
The second era of the band saw a shift in style with an acoustic touch and powerful harmonies, but the passion for rockabilly and classic rock never wavered.
- Randy Collins – Lead Vocals and Acoustic Guitar
- Bogdan Gheorghe – Guitar and Vocals
- Scott Harvey – Bass and Vocals
- Billy Cicalo – Drums
- Jeremy Sterling – Drums
The Hiatus and Side Project: Cat’n Around (2016 - 2017)
After Cadillac Rumble V2, the band took a brief hiatus, during which Billy and I started a side project called Cat’n Around with singer/guitarist George Stryker. This project focused on a more raw and traditional rockabilly sound, exploring the genre's roots with a stripped-down and energetic style. Though different from Cadillac Rumble’s broader Rock & Roll influences, Cat’n Around was a fantastic creative outlet that kept the spirit of live music alive until Cadillac Rumble returned.
- George Stryker – Lead Vocals and Guitars
- Scott Harvey – Bass and Vocals
- Billy Cicalo – Drums
- Ken Harper – Drums
Cadillac Rumble V3 (2018 - Present)
After the hiatus, I was determined to bring Cadillac Rumble back with a powerful lineup that continues to entertain crowds today. Initially reforming as a stripped-down trio, the band quickly expanded with multiple drummers contributing over the years, helping to shape our energetic live performances and solidify our sound.
- Scott Harvey – Lead Vocals and Bass
- Bogdan Gheorghe – Guitar and Vocals
- Billy Cicalo – Drums and Vocals
- David Tettmar – Drums and Vocals
- Allan Dover – Drums and Vocals (subbed in on several shows)
- Alex Gheorghe – Drums (subbed in on several shows)
